The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a beautiful and relaxing health care modality which balances the body, mind and spirit. This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of ceremony, involves the use of ghee (clarified butter). The massage is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs. The heart of the treatment involves vigorously rubbing the soles of the feet with a special three-metal bowl to draw out heat and toxins thereby inducing tremendous relaxation.
The treatment begins with relaxing foot and leg movements. Slowly and methodically, the toes, feet, ankles and calves are massaged with the small Kansa Vatki bowl. This is followed by a sequence of marma massage which helps to detoxify and rebalance the body's energies. The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™, a 45-minute treatment, makes a wonderful addition to reflexology and other bodywork. After a Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ your client will be walking on air!
This training course provides a comprehensive grounding in the theoretical basis and practical application of Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™. Students may use this technique as a principal or subsidiary part of their professional practice.
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded at the completion of the one-day course. Students will earn seven (7) Continuing Education Hours. Susan Walsh is approved by the NCBTMB as a continuing education approved provider (#450489-07), and she is an Approved Provider for continuing education in Florida (#50-10661). Students must attend the class in its entirety in order to receive the 7 CE Hours and the Certificate of Attendance.
